Life on Stage… The No More! Project is a mixed-media anthology series blending film, theatre, documentary, animation, and performance art (acting, spoken word, singing, and dance) to confront seven critical issues impacting African American youth: drugs, sex, peer pressure, violence, suicide, trafficking, and abuse (physical, sexual, and mental). Building on nearly 15 years of success from the original stage production, the series expands its reach to show how these issues transcend race, class, and faith. Each film fuses real life documentary interviews, live stage footage, and docu-fiction reenactments underscored by spoken word rhythm and original music. Performed by the resident cast of uNiqu’ Arts, the cinematic storytelling merges theatrical energy while weaving in documentary voices, survivors, advocates, and professionals who deepen the narrative’s truth. Life on Stage… The No More! Project is a powerful, art-driven movement designed to inspire awareness, healing, and generational impact.
